Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions Applicable to all attendees

Please note: Entry to Fine Food New Zealand is restricted to professionals in the food and hospitality industry and contractors servicing these industries. Persons not in this category, including children under the age of 16 and school groups, will not be admitted at any time. Tertiary students should visit the main info desk upon arrival with proof of their culinary school enrolment. All registered visitors must show valid business ID upon entry.

1.1. Trade Show

Fine Food New Zealand is a business event/trade show organised by XPO Exhibitions. Entry is restricted to professionals in the food and hospitality industry and contractors servicing these industries. Persons not in this category, including children under the age of 16, will not be admitted at any time. Proof of identity and industry involvement may be requested at the door.

1.2. Registration

All visitors to Fine Food New Zealand are required to register online. Those who register before 11:59pm on Saturday 24th of June will get free access to the exhibition. All those who fail to register, will incur a $25NZD fee at the gate or online after 11:59pm on Saturday 24th June.


1.3. Event Cancellation Policy
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fine Food New Zealand reserves the right to cancel or change any event activity. Fine Food New Zealand does not accept any liability for any accommodation, travel or associated bookings or costs made or incurred by any event attendee.

1.4. Onsite Payment Policy
Accepted onsite payment method is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) or cash. Credit card transactions will appear on your statement from
XPO Exhibitions, the authorised registration provider for the Fine Food New Zealand 2023.

1.5. Fine Food New Zealand Right to Cancel Ticket and Refuse Entry
• Fine Food New Zealand reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel any registration/badge.
• Fine Food New Zealand also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reasonably refuse entry to any person to Fine Food New Zealand. 

1.6. Event Schedule

• XPO Exhibitions reserves the right to change any event schedules without notification due to unforeseen circumstances.

1.7. Visitors promoting own business
• Visitors agree they will not promote their products or services to exhibitors while attending the show. Visitors found in breach of this rule may be asked to leave the event immediately and be refused entry to future shows.


1.8. Badges
• For the purposes of Fine Food New Zealand and for this document, Badges are defined as an event card bearing identifying information such as a person’s name, company name and serves as the attendee’s entry ticket. 
• Badges are distributed upon entry at Fine Food New Zealand.
• For safety and security reasons, it is a requirement of the delegate to wear their badge at all times whilst at the Auckland Showgrounds. 

1.9. Fine Food New Zealand Privacy Policy
Fine Food New Zealand values your feedback and privacy. By registering to attend Fine Food New Zealand and/or using the event network, your personal information may be collected and used by Fine Food New Zealand
(which includes disclosure to third parties) for the purposes of processing your registration, conducting Fine Food New Zealand, allowing you to access to the Event network, and for publicity purposes surrounding Fine Food New Zealand 2021. You consent to the use of your personal information as described. You may access and/or change your data by following the procedures set out in Fine Food New Zealand’s privacy policy. 

1.10. Photography and Filming Policy
During the Event, you may be photographed or filmed and the images or footage may be used for internal and external promotional purposes. By registering and attending you automatically consent to XPO Exhibitions using photography and video in which you may appear for future marketing.

1.11. Fine Food New Zealand Code of Conduct
XPO Exhibitions does not tolerate harassing or disrespectful behaviour, messages, images, or interactions by any participant, in any form, at any aspect of the program including business and social activities, regardless of location.

We do not tolerate any behaviour that is degrading to any gender, race, sexual orientation or disability, or any behaviour that would violate the company's
Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Policy, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, or Standards of Business Conduct.

We encourage everyone to assist in creating a welcoming and safe environment. Please report any concerns, harassing behaviour, or suspicious or disruptive activity to event management. Fine Food New Zealand reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from an event at any time at its sole discretion. 

1.12. Guarantees
These Terms and Conditions do not, nor do they purport to, limit, exclude or modify any non-excludable statutory guarantees provided under the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other warranties (whether express or implied) under any state or federal legislation which cannot be excluded.

1.13. Compliance
Fine Food New Zealand reserves the right to eject individuals from the Fine Food New Zealand for misbehaviour and/or non-compliance with these Terms.

1.14. Liability
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded, Fine Food New Zealand excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of your participation in the Fine Food New Zealand or any associated activities. 

1.15. GST
All rates are displayed as cost (not including GST) + GST (GST cost only) unless where otherwise specified.

1.16. Receipts
Digital transaction receipts will be provided to all attendees paying via credit card as soon as the transaction has been completed. If for some reason you do not see a copy of your digital transaction receipt on your screen post successful completion of credit card payment, please contact operations@finefoodnz.co.nz.

1.17. Identification
Valid identification may be required for ticketed attendees. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid passport or driver’s license.

1.18. No Children under 16
Children under the age of 16 are NOT PERMITTED to attended Fine Food NZ. It is not a suitable environment for children. Where any exception is made by the Organiser, a waiver must be signed and the child must be accompanied by a guardian.
