NZChefs is the national association representing professional chefs, cooks and trainees, patissiers and confectioners in New Zealand. Through continued education including Judges qualifications, culinary competitions and trade events, opportunities are created that showcase culinary creativity and skills in the public arena.

FGC promotes the role the industry plays in the health and nutrition of New Zealanders in making better diet and lifestyle choices. It advocates on issues of concern and interest to the industry, and acts as a forum to discuss and pursue those issues.
