Auld Farm Distillery is a premium New Zealand distillery based in Southland. We grow our own grains on farm to use in our Single Malt Whiskies, our terroir driven Southland Gin’s and curious range of spirits and elixers. We are one of the few seed-to-sip farm distilleries in the world.

The land at Auld Farm has been growing grain since 1883. It’s what this farm does best. With high rainfall, fertile soils and a reliable climate, Southland is perfect barley growing country.
At Auld Farm, we’re passionate about applying best practice when tending our crops. We believe that our land needs to be nurtured and preserved to ensure that it keeps producing superb harvests — like it has done for more than 130 years.
Not only is the grain grown on Auld Farm, but the water used to make our premium whisky is sourced from a pristine natural spring emerging from a seam of rock, right here on our land.
