Sabato, a specialist gourmet business founded by Jacqui and Philip Dixon, has been sourcing and introducing superb ingredients to New Zealand for 25 years.
We supply a range of premium ingredients to numerous restaurants, distributors, retailers and select supermarkets throughout New Zealand. Our focus is on the fabulous Italian, Spanish and French lines we import; however we also carry a carefully selected local range of cheese and dry goods and produce chutneys and mayonnaises from our own commercial kitchen. We have a dedicated Cheesemonger to talk cheese, alongside our knowledgeable sales team.
Many of our European suppliers are family-owned operations who add generations of knowledge and tradition to their products. Our signature lines include Forum vinegars, Ferron rice, Ortiz anchovies, Rustichella pasta, La Chinata paprika, Giusti balsamics, Pons oils and Valrhona chocolate.
