With more than 14 years experience at Countdown, Nikhil Sawant, started out on the shop floor, and he knows first hand what resonates with customers.
As one of Countdown’s senior Merchandise Managers, he meets regularly with small and large suppliers, is constantly making ranging decisions based on customer research as well as reviewing overseas trends to ensure that Countdown is offering their customers the latest products. Nikhil is also a regular judge for numerous food industry events such as the NZ Food Awards, and NZ Cheese Awards.
