Nick Inkster worked hard in the West Australian oil & gas industry, and had a dream to have his own bar back home in Christchurch. When the Old Government Building in the main square became available in 2016, he grabbed it and has progressively opened a bar, a cafe, a restaurant and even a barbershop. It’s brought new life to the city centre, and has a unique reputation for beverages, food and entertainment.
Since opening in 2016, Nick Inkster has grown his bar, cafe and restaurant complex to be one of the city’s most popular and well-known venues, now employing more than 60 people. Hear how Nick has developed his business and handles the issues every operator faces; management systems, staff, marketing and finance. Plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
