It’s been over 6 years when Sam started to take coffee seriously, so much so that her competed in national and international competitions around the world for something he grew to love and dedicate so much time to. He was named the 2016 Meadow Fresh New Zealand Barista Champion as well as the 2013 & 2015 NZ Latteart Champion. The coffee industry got him to dive into the realm of flavour and since then he’s applied it to most aspects of the food & beverage industry that he come across. One of his biggest passions is cooking, especially Chinese cuisine, he find Chinese gastronomy so fascinating, rich in history and all round delicious.... kinda like coffee.
