Alto Del Carmen - pisco

Alto Del Carmen (ADC), a premium multiple gold medal winner with high world wide demand and with an entirely hand made production. Made from Muscat grapes which are hand picked. Distilled twice in copper kilns and then aged for a minimum period of 2 years in new French oak barrels. Mt Hector Chardonnay

This is a well-balanced wine showing ripe nectarine and summer fruit flavours, with a creamy palate accented by elements of toasty oak on the finish. Whilst this wine can be enjoyed now, it will continue to develop over the next 2 – 3 years. Try it with your favourite poultry dish.


Gato Negro Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir AROMA: It has notes of small red fruits which evoke ripe cherries and raspberries. PALATE: Fresh and fruity wine with good acidity and very smooth tannins. The malolactic fermentation takes place on lightly toasted or not toasted wood, in order to highlight the fruity part and increase the mouthfeel of the wine. Wine for many moments: Perfect with beef, lamb, pork, duck, game meats and cheeses. Ideal temperature for drinking: 16-18°C. Gato Negro Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon AROMA: Very intense Cab, full red fruit aromas, berries, cherry, cassis perfectly mixed with sweet vanilla and soft smoke notes. PALATE: Fresh mouth feels medium body, slightly rich, soft tannins and long pleasant finish. Wine for many moments. Perfect with beef, lamb, pork, duck, game meats and cheeses. Gato Negro Carmenere

Carmenere AROMA: Ripe fruity and fresh aromas like blackberry and blackcurrant blended with notable spices notes, tobacco and vanilla hints. PALATE: Gentle, velvety wine, medium-bodied, pleasant finish. It is different and surprises the consumer with its first impression. Perfect with spiced food like Mexican and Thai. Gato Negro Cabernet Merlot

AROMA: Is a really fresh fruity wine with perfect acidity that increase the freshness sensation and intensifies the strawberry and blackberry aromas. PALATE: Sweet hints of vanilla and chocolate that give a soft final sensation and an excellent persistence. After the fermentation is finished, the wine stay in contact with wood for 3 to 6 months. Gato Negro Merlot

AROMA: Intense fresh fruity aroma like blackberries and plums. PALATE: Soft toasted notes mixed with sweet vanilla. Medium bodied, soft tannins and pleasant finish. After the fermentation is finished, the wine stay in contact with wood for 3 to 6 months. Beef, Lamb, pork, duck, cheeses, pizza, heart pastas. Ideal temperature for drinking: 16-18°C. Gato Negro Malbec

Malbec Intense red, violet and bright. AROMA: Fresh aroma, like the plum, joined with lactic notes and a subtle touch of vanilla. PALATE: In mouth is sweet inlet, medium palate, firm structure and sucrose finish. PAIRING: Great to match red meats and pasta with tomato sauces.


Gato Negro Rose

Pale pink colour. AROMA: Strong fresh fruits notes of strawberries and plums. PALATE: Refreshing and with a perfect acidity that enhances the fruit notes with a smooth sweet finish. PAIRING: Ideal to pair with smoky meats, quiches, pork, ham and spiced food like Mexican and Thai. Great as appetizer. Best serve at: 10º - 12ºC


Gato Negro Chardonnay

Chardonnay AROMA: Intense wine that show tropical aromas like peach, pineapple and hints of banana perfectly blended with sweet notes of vanilla. PALATE: A perfect acidity improve the fresh fruity sensation and give a perfect balance with the sweet sensation that make a long pleasant finish. Excellent persistence. PAIRING: Ideal with poultry and game birds, veal and pork, fish and pasta preparations which feature cream or butter, mushrooms. Ideal temperature for drinking: 10-12°C.


Molina Reserve Carmenere

AROMA: The nose is quite expressive and intense, full of black fruit and spices, where blackberries, plums, blueberries and pepper stand out, perfectly combining with subtle notes of vanilla and blond tobacco. PALATE: In the mouth, it is a round wine, with good concentration and volume, ripe fruit, soft tannins, rich acidity and a persistent finish. Ideal to accompany risotto, baked lean meats, game birds and ripe cheeses. To be preferably served at 17ºC. Molina Reserve Pinot Noir

AROMA: Small red fruits, like cherries and raspberries, stand out, along with notes of vanilla and caramel as a result of barrel-aging. PALATE: It is a fresh and fruity wine, with smooth, harmonious, and delicate tannins and a lasting finish. Drink immediately or age for three to four years. Ideal for accompanying game birds, pastas, and soft cheeses. Serve preferably between 14°C and 15°C.


Molina Reserve Syrah

Syrah AROMA: Complex, elegant nose of plum, cassis and violets, with subtle notes of vanilla, bacon and chocolate. PALATE: Friendly on the palate, full-bodied with soft, ripe tannins. This wine is fresh with great acidity and a long finish. Can be consumed immediately or aged for between 3 to 5 years. Ideal for accompanying red meat, game and mature cheese. Molina Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

AROMA: This wine displays an expressive, complex bouquet, full of fresh fruits such as raspberries and cherries and ripe fruits like plums and blackberries, which blend perfectly with the tobacco and vanilla notes produced during barrel aging. PALATE: On the palate, this is a fruity and well-integrated wine, displaying good structure and body, and mature and round tannins, which give way to a long and persistent finish. It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for three to five years. Ideal for accompanying red meat, wild game birds, venison and semi-hard cheeses. Serve at 17 to 18°C. Mt Hector Pinot Gris

This is a wonderfully luscious wine with aromas of pear and spice on the nose and a tropical richness on the palate which is well balanced and off-dry. Enjoy in its youth or cellar for 2-3 years. 4 stars - Wine Orbit


Mt Hector Sauvignon Blanc

This crisply styled, refreshing wine has a wonderful combination of lime, passionfruit and gooseberry aromas with a hint of minerality – typical stylish Sauvignon Blanc! We love to drink it with seafood and pasta dishes and delicious summer salads. While this wine is ready to drink now, it can also be cellared for up to two years. Gold medal – 2017 CWSA


Matahiwi Estate Blanc de Blanc

MATAHIWI ESTATE BLANC DE BLANC I love the melon and nectarine notes and the deliciously fine bubbles. Lemon and peach flavours ooz through to something deliciously dry and fruity – it’s a nicely structured sparkling wine crafted by Jane Cooper and her team at Matahiwi Estate. Maori Point Rose

Sight Bright, cerise pink colour with a little depth and light purple hues on the edge. Nose The nose is fresh and aromatic with vibrant fruit aromas of strawberries and raspberries and cream, along with fragrant red florals and subtle notes of confectionary. The aromatics form a rounded, concentrated heart. Taste Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has vibrant and aromatic fruit flavours of raspberries and cream, strawberries and lifted red florals. The fruit is rich and intense with a lusciousness that is carried by a fine-textured phenolic line that provides thirst-quenching dryness and balance. The acidity is refreshing, contributing to the liveliness and energy of the palate.


Maori Point Pinot Gris

Pour a glass, and you'll find this Pinot Gris bursting with ripe pears and ginger spice. This wine shows beautiful, mouth watering balance between sweetness and acid. 91/100. Her perfume of perfectly ripe apples and pears is accentuated by her elegant bead of bubbles. She is crisply refreshing with just a hint of sweetness to keep you guessing, yet underneath she has depth and complexity you might not expect from such a petite package Beware, she's dangerous!


Holly Chardonnay

Sourced from a single vineyard in Hawkes Bay, this is a rich, barrel fermented Chardonnay with the accent on complexity and fruit weight. Ripe stone fruit and citrus aromas combine with hints of toasty oak, leading to a silky and elegant finish. Perfect with seafood or pasta made with rich, cream-based sauces or with roasted chicken. Holly Sauvignon Blanc

Pure Sauvignon fruit vibrancy and building in complex yeast and barrel derived flavours. Lime skin and elderflower aromas along with a mineral, crushed stone note, marry with nutty yeasty characters and a savoury edge. We enjoy this wine with freshly smoked white-fleshed fish served on crostini or try with a leek and pecorino tart.


Holly Late Harvest

This addition to the Holly reserve range is a luscious wine in a botrytized late harvest style. A first at Matahiwi for winemaker Jane Cooper, using a blend of 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Riesling grapes. 2013 Gold - 2014 CWSA awards 5 stars - Raymond Chan 4.5 stars - Wine Orbit


Matahiwi Estate Sauvignon Blanc

This vibrant, aromatic wine has flavours of gooseberry and limes, with a lively finish. We love to drink it with seafood and pasta dishes and delicious summer salads. No cellaring required. 2017 Gold - CWSA 2017


Matahiwi Estate Pinot Gris

With this wine, we are trying to achieve a more Alsace style of Pinot Gris that is richer and more complex. A portion has therefore been barrel fermented to develop texture and complexity in the final wine. The palate displays aromas of pear, nectarine and toasted almonds leading to a lingering dry finish. This wine is best enjoyed in its youth but will further develop over the next 4 years. 2017 Gold - CWSA 2017


Matahiwi Estate Chardonnay

This is a rich style of Chardonnay with the accent on strong fruit flavours. Ripe melon, nectarine and summer peach aromas abound with oak hints of cedar and spice and a long, full, yet soft finish. Ideal matched with creamy pasta and white meat dishes. It is also delicious with seafood.


Matahiwi Estate Rose

The little black dress of pink wines. This wine is just as at home on the patio as it is in the dining room, Its fresh, crisp, dry style is a masterful match for almost any dish; even a juicy burger makes a perfect partner. This pale, pink rosé, aromas of strawberry, fresh-cut watermelon, biscuit and rose petal, finishing with a distinctive long finish. A creamy palate and fresh dry finish.


Molina Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

AROMA: Marked by freshness and intensity, with notes of passion fruit, citrus fruits such as grapefruit, and other citrus fruit zests, together with hints of green chili pepper and gunpowder. PALATE: This is a vibrant wine with rich acidity. Fresh, fruity, and strongly mineral, this wine stands out for its identity and freshness. It possesses a robust body, which gives way to a long and persistent finish. Ideal for drinking as an aperitif and for accompanying fish and shellfish. Serve cold, preferably between 9°C and 11°C.
