Space at New Zealand’s premier food retail, food service and hospitality trade show is rapidly running out as exhibitors take advantage of the opportunity to showcase and demonstrate their products and services to industry influencers, trade buyers and key decision-makers.
A record turnout of exhibitors and visitors has seen the country’s biggest trade food event, Fine Food New Zealand, celebrate its greatest success yet. A biennial business to business exhibition for the foodservice, food retail and hospitality industries, the show is hugely significant to the sectors it serves as well to the New Zealand economy.
Fine Food New Zealand, the international trade event for the food service, food retail and hospitality industries, last night (Sunday 26 June) announced the winners of the prized Innovation Awards.
Adapted from a successful international format, the RANZ Barista Smackdown is now in its third year, proving that we kiwis take our coffee drinking very seriously. This high adrenaline visual extravaganza with wild cards and challenges will separate the hopefuls from the masters in the quest to create the perfect coffee.
This year Fine Food NZ is divided into 11 themed product worlds which along with business focused seminars from top industry experts and an awards showcase, give visitors optimum opportunity to learn, connect, purchase and try.
This year the show will be bigger and better than ever before, with a stunning variety of new and expanded features, competitions and industry awards. “We recognised a need to evolve this biennial event, reflecting industry changes and consumer food trends”, says Dona White, CEO of North Port Events and organiser of Fine Food NZ.
As a country with a reputation for top quality foods and beverages, New Zealand made products and foodservices are in demand – both nationally and from the rest of the world. It’s no wonder, then, that Fine Food New Zealand – the premier trade event for the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries – is already 60% sold out for its 2016 event.
Fine Food NZ 2014 also played host to a number of significant industry events hosted by the Baking Industry of New Zealand, New Zealand Chef's Association, Restaurant Association of New Zealand and TheShout magazine.
